CSE can design and customise consultancy and advisory services to meet the needs of your school, region, sector or system. Click here to contact Barbara Watterston for further information.
Priority Advisory Areas
CSE has made a major commitment to the continuing development of policy and practices surrounding International and Indigenous Education. For more than a decade CSE has developed and coordinated cross-sectoral advisory groups.

We also have an enabling environment to accelerate our efforts. This is provided by explicit reference of our endeavour to both the Melbourne Declaration on Educational Goals for Young Australians and the Australian Curriculum – particularly in terms of the identification of intercultural understanding as one of the general capabilities; the cross-curriculum priorities, including Indigenous Education, Asia and Australia’s engagement with Asia; and issues relating to global sustainability.

The International Education Advisory Group (IEAG) and the Indigenous Education Focus Group (IEFG) have developed an operational framework linking professional learning, publications, seminar series, conferences and the development of action research in schools. These activities and resources are available to educators across all sectors.
