Developing Leadership Capacity Program

PROVIDING STRONG AND LASTING SUPPORT FOR PRINCIPALS TO BUILD AND EMPOWER THEIR LEADERSHIP TEAMS

Successful leadership in schools leads to improved student learning. CSE recognizes that unlocking untapped leadership capacity is essential for strategic school improvement and efficient work–load management.

A New Approach

Our approach is to embed the learning of the Four Pillars of the CSE Leadership Model – Think, Feel, Act, Flourish – within a project based context and to offer schools the opportunity to join in a cluster or individually. Projects might involve structural change, cultural change, changes in pedagogy, classroomenvironments or curriculum. We will provide both theoretical input and practical outcomes, supported by expert coaching and feedback.

The leadership of the School Principal remains central. The Principal will actively participate in articulating and framing the vision; supporting, encouraging, and critiquing progress, and guiding CSE's oversight.
