PROGRAM DETAILS
Open Parachute training provides strategies for relating to stress and burnout, resulting in a fulfilling, long-lasting career. At the same time teachers and Pastoral Care leaders are provided with practical tools for managing the emotional and social well-being of students, which creates more meaningful connections, and results in students who are more engaged in their learning and their lives.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER Dr Hayley Watson is a clinical psychologist with a PhD in bullying interventions. She has been creating and delivering intervention programs for youth and practitioners in Canada, the US, the UK, and Australia for the past 15 years. She has recently founded a video-based middle and high school social and emotional well-being curriculum program that has been approved by Australian Government and can be found on the Be You (Beyond Blue) National Programs Directory. The program is being run in schools across Australia, Canada, and the US.
Hayley runs teacher trainings all over the world to empower educators with practical tools for self-care and for managing student mental health and behaviour concerns in the classroom.
