Schools across Australia, the US and Canada have been engaging Dr Hayley Watson’s Open Parachute training to develop strategies and curriculum to support the emotional wellbeing of students and teachers. Never has this been more important than during this time of the Coronavirus crisis.
This training session will explore ways emotional and wellbeing support can be provided to students as they return to school, helping teachers and school leaders identify students for whom the changes have led to greater anxiety or who are struggling with apathy, depression and lack of motivation developed over recent months.
The session will also empower teachers to support colleagues and parents trying to cope with many changes at this time.
