Mercer House Trust Fellowships on the Future of the Educator Profession – Innovation Research Grant.

Grantees of a Mercer House Trust Fellowship will be engaged in futures thought leadership to stimulate the much needed evolution of the educator profession.

Upon publication they will become fellows of Mercer House/ CSE.

Project Details

The Fellowship Program will award innovation research grants to explore the future of the educator profession

Each Fellowship (Research Grant) will be shared between 2 professional intergenerational (early career educator/ mature career educator) mixed gender colleagues

Each paired Fellowship will be awarded a $15,000 AUD grant

Each paired Fellowship will produce an innovation research paper of approximately 5000 words focusing on a "next educator workforce", addressing a particular educator role which may include community educators, professional educators, educational leaders.

On completion of the research paper and its presentation to an invitational seminar, and publication in CSE's Leading Education Series, the authors become fellows of Mercer House/ CSE.

Selection

Selection Details

CSE Board of Directors who serve as the Directors of the Mercer House Trust will act as the selection panel in the awarding of the Fellowships.

You will be contacted by the CSE Office to arrange an interview if your paired application for an Innovation Research Grant meets the criteria to move to that stage.

The first round of applications for 2023 will commence on 1 September 2023 with applications due by 1 October 2023.

Successful awardees will be decided and announced by 1 November 2023.

The project writing process will take place in the remainder of 2023 with submission date of the Innovation Research Paper at 1 March 2024.
